Each of these organs has its own specific tasks within or outside the organisation. Amongst these are administration, project development, co-operation with other organisations, communication with governments and public extension.

The organisation functions along a circular structure. This means that all parts of the organisation bear equal responsibility. This in contrast with pyramidal structures in which one person or one part or segment carries the total responsibility.

Decisions on policy and implementation are made by a council formed by representative of the board, the advisory commission and the co-ordinators of workgroups and sub-workgroups.

At this moment the organisation aims to found a permanent bureau which will take care of the administrative tasks of the organisation.
